Over 50 Hezbollah terrorists, including 6 top commanders, were killed in a series of airstrikes in Lebanon yesterday. According to the IDF, those targeted were key figures who were preparing to infiltrate Israel, with plans to attack northern towns, murder, and kidnap Israeli civilians. Israel also confirmed yesterday that Hashem Safieddine, the apparent heir to assassinated Hezbollah leader Nasrallah, was killed in an airstrike in Beirut last week.

Hezbollah leaders are reportedly in support of a ceasefire, but at this point, that seems unlikely as Israel continues to degrade and destroy the terror army.

Shrapnel from a Hezbollah rocket barrage today killed an Israeli man and woman in Kiryat Shemona. Six people were injured by shrapnel from another rocket barrage in the Haifa bay area.

Israel reportedly struck a residential building in the Mazzeh neighborhood in Damascus last night, in the vicinity of the Iranian embassy, killing 7 and injuring 11. The building was frequented by senior Revolutionary Guards and Hezbollah terrorists.

The Pentagon has confirmed that Israeli Defense Minister Gallant will not be traveling to Washington as initially planned. Gallant was expected to share Israel’s plans to retaliate against Iran with the Americans. The White House is reportedly concerned about not being informed about a potential Israel strike.
