Two soldiers from the Kfir Brigade’s 94th Battalion were wounded overnight when a terrorist stabbed them inside a home in the village of Silwad, in the Binyamin region of Samaria, where troops had entered as part of an operation to locate weapons and dismantle terror infrastructure. Troops opened fire, killing one of the terrorists.

The IDF and Shin Bet announced that they eliminated Hamas terrorist Iyad Ahmed Abd al-Rahman Shambari, head of the operations department in Hamas’ Military Intelligence Headquarters, in a strike in northern Gaza yesterday. Shambari took an active part in planning the October 7 massacre. In a statement, the IDF said, “IDF troops under the Southern Command remain deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue operating to remove any immediate threat.”

In a recording taken during a meeting with members of American Friends of Likud (obtained by YNET), Foreign Minister Sa’ar said that Israel would only implement annexation of Judea and Samaria in coordination with the U.S., something that President Trump does not support. He said, “we don’t have intention to do it, at least in the coming months, it is against the path of President Trump’s plan, and doing that will no doubt alienate Israel from a lot of friends.” Sa’ar made clear that Israel opposes a Palestinian state and is advancing measures on the ground in the settlements.

Ukraine accused Israel of purchasing grain that Russia stole from Ukrainian territory under their occupation. The dispute erupted after a Russian grain ship docked at Haifa Port, with Ukraine claiming the wheat on board was stolen from occupied Ukrainian territory. FM Sa’ar said that Ukraine had not provided sufficient evidence and that it should not have made the accusation publicly, on social media. He said that Israel would investigate the issue.
