News Update

The IDF launched ground operation in northern Gaza, after air strikes destroyed dozens of Hamas targets. Three rockets were launched from the Khan Yunis area by terrorists. One was intercepted and 2 fell in open areas. At least 4 areas in Rishon LeZion were been hit by shrapnel, with no injuries reported. Earlier today, a ballistic missile fired from Yemen was intercepted before entering Israeli airspace.

IDF commanders are reporting difficulty in getting reservists to show up for service. Most have already served over a year, and face personal issues related to family, work and school, which make it challenging for them to serve for even longer. For more on this, click here.

The new UN World Happiness Report ranks Israel number 8 in the world. The top 7 countries are Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Sweden, Netherlands, Costa Rica and Norway.
