IDF combat operations continue throughout Gaza.
IDF soldiers killed in Gaza:
Sgt. First Class (res.) Adar Gavriel, 24, of the Bislamach Brigade’s 6828th Battalion, from Caesarea.
Sgt. Yehonatan Elias, 20, of the Givati Brigade’s reconnaissance unit, from Jerusalem.
Hamas released a statement saying that it would agree to continue negotiations only if a permanent cease-fire is reached. A senior Israeli official on the negotiating team responded, “”If they think they will receive a cease-fire before the implementation of a deal or a part of it, they’re mistaken. It won’t happen. Israel is fighting in Gaza and continues to do so, and if they want a cease-fire for the sake of Gaza residents, it must happen only as part of the negotiation of a hostage release deal.” For more, click here.
Rockets were launched at northern Israel from Lebanon this morning. The IDF continues to strike Hezbollah terror targets in Lebanon.
The Mossad has uncovered plans, by Iranian directed groups, to attack Israeli and Jewish targets in Europe during the upcoming summer olympics. The terror attacks would be carried out by European crime syndicates under directions from Iran. For more, click here.
