IDF and Shin Bet forces have recovered the bodies of 3 more hostages from a tunnel in Jabalya, north of Gaza City. All 3 were murdered on Oct. 7 while attending the Nova music festival.

– Hanan Yavlonka, 42, from Tel Aviv, a divorced father of two children, ages 12 and 9.

– Michel Nisenbaum, 59, originally from Brazil, was living in Sderot since 1988 after making aliyah. He is the father of two daughters and grandfather to five.

– Orión Hernández Radoux, 30, a Mexican tourist, was attending the Supernova desert rave with his girlfriend, Shani Louk.

Spain’s Deputy Prime Minister Yolanda Díaz was seen on video chanting, “From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free” and calling for Spain to press the European Union (EU) to cancel all agreements with Israel, which she accused of committing “war crimes” and “genocide” in the Gaza Strip. She added that the EU should support the lawsuits filed against Israel at The Hague.

The EU’s Foreign Minister, Josep Borrell, said today that recognizing a Palestinian state “is not a gift to Hamas, quite the contrary. The Palestinian Authority is not Hamas. Every time someone makes the decision to support a Palestinian state, the reaction of Israel is to transform it in an antisemitic attack.” He added that the EU has already held discussions with the Palestinian Authority, provided it with funding, and met with its senior officials. Borrell also said that Israel and several European countries were trying to threaten the judges of the International Criminal Court.

Israel’s Foreign Minister Katz said that Israel would prohibit the Spanish consulate in Jerusalem from providing services to Palestinians from the West Bank. The Spanish consulate in Jerusalem employs 30 workers compared to 13 at the embassy in Tel Aviv. The Foreign Ministry plans to do the same to Ireland.

According to a Politico report citing four U.S. officials, the Biden administration is considering appointing a U.S. official to serve as the top civilian adviser to a mostly Palestinian force when the Israel-Hamas conflict ends.The Biden administration is trying to convince Arab states such as Egypt, Morocco and the United Arab Emirates to join the peacekeeping force. There’s also broad agreement between the U.S., Israel and regional players to help form a Palestinian Council, comprising Palestinians from Gaza, to serve as an interim governing structure.
