Israel carried out major strikes against Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon yesterday, sending a clear message that if Lebanon doesn’t fulfill its agreement to disarm Hezbollah, Israel will find a way to do it. The U.S. appears to be fully supportive of Israel’s strikes. If Hezbollah can’t be disarmed, can Hamas? President Trump seems to think so, but it’s not clear how that will happen.
The phone of former IDF Military Advocate General Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi was found on the beach today, and it was still partially charged. Investigators will see what evidence they can find on it.
Kazakhstan has joined the Abraham Accords. The move is primarily symbolic, since Kazakhstan has had formal relations with Israel since 1992 and has an embassy in Tel Aviv. Perhaps the move is more of a message to Iran and Russia, that Kazakhstan is in America’s court.
Qatar will invest $29.7 billion in a luxury development, including golf courses and marinas, on a 4.5 mile stretch of Egypt’s Mediterranean coast northwest of Cairo. The resort will be a year-round destination that will attract tourists and will also have luxury neighborhoods, schools, universities and government facilities. Is Gaza next??
