A woman in her 60s and a man in his 20s were killed, and a man in his 70’s wounded, in a Hezbollah rocket attack near Haifa yesterday. All the victims were members of the same family, from the Arab city of Shfar’am, and were in their olive grove during the attack. Nine people were wounded in Hezbollah rocket attacks today.

The IDF struck 200 Hezbollah and Hamas targets in Lebanon and Gaza on Thursday. The targets included “command and control centers, launchers and terrorist infrastructure sites.” Dozens of terrorists were eliminated. Captain Yarden Zakay, 21, from Hadera, a Platoon Commander in the Shaked Battalion, Givati Brigade, succumbed to his injuries after being severely injured during combat in southern Gaza on September 17, 2024.

Security forces eliminated 3 terrorists during a day-long raid in Tulkarm.

Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati rejected a proposal by U.S. envoy Amos Hochstein to declare a unilateral cease-fire.

Iran’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei has reportedly given the order to prepare for a strike on Israel. The Iranians reportedly feel that the Israeli strike caused significant casualties and damage to a degree that not responded would be a sign of weakness. The response would reportedly come after the U.S. elections.
