In a Tuesday evening social-media post, President Trump said Israel had agreed to the “necessary conditions” for a 60-day cease-fire with Hamas. He wrote: “I hope, for the good of the Middle East, that Hamas takes this Deal, because it will not get better — IT WILL ONLY GET WORSE.” The new proposal is reportedly based on a framework previously presented by Trump’s special envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, with only minor changes. Trump and Netanyahu are set to meet in Washington on Monday.

Two rockets fired from southern Gaza were intercepted over Israeli airspace yesterday. Meanwhile, Hamas accused local militia leader Yasser Abu Shabab of collaborating with Israel and gave him 10 days to turn himself in or face trial in absentia.

IDF forces captured an Iranian terror cell in a special operation in southern Syria last night. IDF operations continue in Gaza, where troops are destroying tunnel networks and eliminating terrorists.
