IDF forces are pushing further into Rafah and continuing to engage and destroy Hamas terrorists and infrastructure.

IDF soldiers killed in Gaza:

– Sergeant Amir Galilove, 20 years old, 50th Battalion of the Nahal Brigade, from Shamshiit.

– Sergeant Uri Bar Or, 21 years old, 50th Battalion of the Nahal Brigade, from Midrash Ben Gurion.

– Sergeant Ido Appel, 21 years old, 50th Battalion of the Nahal Brigade, from Tzofar.

The soldiers were killed by an explosion in a booby-trapped building in Rafah. Three other soldiers were wounded in the same incident.

Tzachi Hanegbi, head of the National Security Agency, said that “the fighting in Gaza will continue for at least another seven months”.

The U.S. has suspended the flow of humanitarian aid via the pier it built off the coast of Gaza, after severe damage to the causeway connecting the pier to the shore due to heavy seas and bad weather. A U.S. Army service member was critically wounded after suffering non-combat injuries on the pier.

Islamic Jihad released a 30-second video of hostage Alex (Sasha) Trufanov from captivity in Gaza last night. Israeli negotiators are still working to reach a deal with Hamas for the release of hostages, but the ball is in Hamas’ court. For more, click here.

White House National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby told reporters on Tuesday that Israel’s operation in Rafah did not cross President Joe Biden’s red line.
