The IDF is reportedly preparing to ramp up strikes against Hezbollah, as the terror group continues to rearm and the Lebanese Army proves unable or unwilling to disarm them.
The US sent a draft resolution yesterday to UN Security Council members regarding the establishment of an international “enforcement force” in Gaza. According to the draft, the International Security Force (ISF) will “stabilize the security environment in Gaza by ensuring the process of demilitarizing the Gaza Strip, including the destruction and prevention of rebuilding of military, terror, and offensive infrastructure, as well as the permanent decommissioning of weapons from non-state armed groups.” The force will be authorized “to use all necessary measures to carry out its mandate consistent with international law.”
Defense Minister Katz has appointed attorney Itay Ofir as the new Military Advocate General. Ofir served as Legal Adviser to the Defense Establishment from 2017 to 2024. Before that he was a partner in a law firm. He also served as a combat officer in the IDF.
