News Update
As we prepare to begin the weeklong Festival of Sukkot, which begins tonight, we all anxiously wait to hear whether Hamas will accept President Trump’s peace proposal to release all of the hostages, end the war, disarm Hamas and create a peaceful, non-Hamas, Arab led governing body in Gaza. Officials are optimistic, but realize that Hamas may very well reject the plan and look to negotiate terms that are unacceptable to Israel and the US.
Negotiations begin in the Egyptian resort of Sharm el-Sheikh today, and will include Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. We’re all holding our breaths, hoping that Hamas agrees to end the suffering of their own people and take the deal on the table. If they refuse, then Israel will have the green-light from the US to finish the job. Let’s hope Hamas choosing the path of life for once.
